Rail:

the nearest train station is Garson, which is connected to the airport by the regular Arriva Bus 80A bus service. The train journey from Garson to Liverpool Central Station takes just 15 minutes, and passengers can travel to destinations all over the UK via Liverpool Lime Street Station.

Bus:

Arriva Bus 80A takes passengers from the airport to a number of different locations including Garston station, Allerton, Mossley Hill, Toxteth and Liverpool City Centre. The National Express Coach provides onward transport, while Terravision shuttle provides hourly services to London Victoria Coach Station.

Taxi:

the airport's taxi rank can be found in front of the terminal building. There are usually a good number of taxis waiting here to take passengers into the city centre and beyond.

Car:

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is actually located just to the south east of Liverpool and those driving from the city centre simply need to take the A561 towards Runcorn, following signs leading to the airport.

If coming from the M56, drivers need to cross over the river at Runcorn on the A557 and then follow the A561 to the airport. Alternatively, those who are coming from the direction of Warrington should take the A road to Widnes. Next, simply turn onto the A561 until you get to Speke Hall Avenue, from which point the airport is clearly signposted.
